    Description

    The special execution stainless steel components are characterized by: filters and regulators, valves, cylinders, and fittings.

    These products are designed for use in applications where excellent resistance to chemical and environmental corrosion is required (such as the Oil & Gas sector, petrochemical, power generation, chemical, etc.).

    All internal and external parts of the SS1700 series in stainless steel, except for the version with automatic discharge, are made of AISI 316L stainless steel in compliance with the NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156/1 standard.

    The product range includes:

    • Filters: available with filtering elements at three levels of filtration (5 μm, 20 μm, 50 μm) in AISI316 stainless steel or in HDPE (high-density polyethylene), with manual or automatic condensate discharge.
    • Pressure regulators: equipped with a low hysteresis rolling diaphragm and an overpressure relief valve (named relieving). This type of regulators is available in four different sizes: from 0 to 12 bar.
    • Filters regulators: combine the features of a filter and a pressure regulator in a single component.

    All sizes offer the clean profile version, which is distinguished by the polished finish of all external surfaces. The overpressure discharge hole is equipped with a 1/8” NPT thread and is protected by a sintered filter in AISI 316.

    The series of valves and related accessories in 316L stainless steel has been developed to be used with gaseous fluids (aggressive and non-aggressive).

    The valves are available in manual, pneumatic, and electric (EXD explosion-proof IP66) versions.

    All components (both internal and external) of the valves are manufactured in accordance with the NACE MR0175/ISO 15156-1 standard.

    The stainless steel cylinders, compliant with ISO 15552 (formerly ISO 6431 – VDMA 24562), models 1393 and 1394, are ideal for the food industry also thanks to the type of grease used for internal pre-lubrication, which is NSF H1 certified. The meticulous design facilitates the cleaning of the cylinder, eliminating stagnation zones.

    The externally exposed components are made of AISI 316 stainless steel, and the sealing gaskets can be of two types: PUR from -30°C to +80°C and FPM from -5°C to +150°C (depending on environmental conditions or operating temperatures). The cylinders have bores ranging from Ø32 to Ø100, with round tube and visible tie rods, and are available in double-acting configurations, with a base or through-rod, with the option of tandem versions on request. The magnetic version of the aluminum piston allows for position detection through external end-of-stroke sensors, mounted on special stainless steel AISI 316 brackets.

    For mounting, it is possible to use the threaded holes on the head screws or choose from a wide variety of stainless steel fastenings. The cylinder fully complies with ISO 15552 standards and is made of AISI 316 stainless steel.

    The automatic fittings of the stainless series SS are oil-free and manufactured respecting the high quality standards set by the relevant ISO standards. Made of SUS316 stainless steel, the automatic fittings ensure durability and resistance to corrosion.

    • Usable fluids are: compressed air, water, and steam
    • Recommended tubes: TPU (Polyurethane), PA11/PA12 (Polyamide), TPE (Polyethylene), and TCO (Copolyester)
    • Operating temperatures range from -20°C to +120°C
    • Operating pressures range from 0 to 1.2 MPa (0-12 bar)
